Royal Hunt has a few live albums in their back catalogue: “1996”, “Closing the Chapter” and “2006”, so you might think this would be named “2016”…

While playing at some the most prestigious festivals on the metal circuit: ProgPower USA, Loud Park Japan and Rockingham UK supporting their “Devil’s Dozen” album they had focus on their signature album “Paradox” from 1997, playing the entire album in one go.

The result is a decent live album, which might even disappoint a few hard core fans, because so many classics are missing, the band is on cruise control on most of the songs and D.C. Cooper might not be at his very best on these songs.

Not my favourite Royal Hunt live album, it leaves me wishing for so much more…
