THE RESISTANCE and Jesper Strömblad end collaboration

Less than two months after the release of the band’s second album, ‘Coup de Grace’, THE RESISTANCE have announced that former In Flames guitarist and founder Jesper Strömblad will no longer be part of the line-up. Strömblad was one of the founding memebers of The Resistance in 2011.

According to the press release from Playground Music, singer Marco Aro (The Haunted), guitarist Daniel Antonsson, bassist Rob Hakemo and drummer Chris Barkensjö will continue the band, a number of summer festivals having already been scheduled along with tours in both the US and in Europe.

There is no offcial statement as to why Strömblad leaves The Resistance.
