The Power Of Metal.dk

The Power of Metal.dk Webzine was founded in the summer of 2003. With dedication and a fair amount of work, the site grew from idea to a site with a staff presently consisting of fourteen metal fans located in Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Bulgaria and the US and with a number of acclaimed metal labels and distribution companies as partners. We review CD’s and concerts and the occasional festival, most notably the world’s biggest metal party, Wacken Open Air, where the Power of Metal staff can also be found roaming the backstage area every year.

The site enjoys between five and six hundred visits per day – with no other marketing efforts than the reviews and interviews posted on band sites.

Please visit our site, read the disclaimer and see the partner list under the About Us section if you want to know more. www.powerofmetal.dk

When my old buddy Kenn Jensen asked me if I wanted to contribute to the new site he had created, then called powermetal.dk, I didn't hesitate. My love for metal music was and is great. I wrote my first review during the summer of 2004 (Moonspell's 'Antidote' album). In 2015, I took over the editor-in-chief role.
