BLOODRED – New lyric video “The Hail-Storm” launched

Debut album casts dark shadows

BLOODRED have started the recording for the longed-for by many debut album in summer 2015.

For this the head of the band, Ron Merz, has teamed up with Alexander Krull (ATROCITY, LEAVES’ EYES) in its Mastersound Studio in Germany mid of July.
For the two it was to continue the successful BLACKENED DEATH METAL cooperation from the year before last year.

Recording master Krull produced the whole and took over mixing and mastering.
After the critically acclaimed EP “The Lost Ones”, which was released in August 2014, the done co-operative represented the second collaboration of this proven team.

In the technically well-equipped halls of the renowned Mastersound Studios releases of known acts like ATROCITY, LEAVES’ EYES, BELPHEGOR and OBSCURA have already been provided with a great sound. The guitars got recorded under the direction of Thorsten Bauer (ATROCITY, LEAVES’ EYES).

Once more with the mystical game in Swabian realms was also Joris Nijenhuis (ATROCITY, LEAVES’ EYES), who played the drums just as it did at 2014 EP “The Lost Ones”.

BLOODRED mastermind, singer and multi-instrumentalistRon Merz comments:
“I was insanely blazed with great joy at the new recording sessions! In the Mastersound one can work as relaxed as fully focused. And Alex was always close with words and deeds.”

Equally important to the studious BLOODRED main actor is the competent and experienced Joris Nijenhuis who plays the drum parts for the upcoming longplay crusher:
“Joris is a world-class drummer, bringing in a whole new way ennobling, powerful dimension to my music with its style!”.

Lyric Video for the new song “The Hail-Storm”:

The release of the debut album strike of BLOODRED, entitled “Nemesis”, is scheduled for April 8th, 2016.

MEDIA FEEDBACK for BLOODRED “Nemesis”:

8 / 10
“… this is another great sounding recording from BLOODRED and if you are a fan of melodic, blackened Death Metal, you should check out this album.”
(A Different Shade Of Black Metal)

“I really tried to find the disadvantages of this album but I struggled a lot … the vocals are almost perfect for the kind of serving … I loved the drums and was impressed by the maturity of Joris Nijenhuis’s technique, who seems to well hold the his instrument and gives a darker tone with his aggressive playing style … guitars are my favorite in the album … I know I’ll hear many nice things from BLOODRED because such a job (and I say it with both concepts) must have a continuity … “Nemesis” is essentially a Black Metal music release that will make many people to change their mind about the genre and to review whether Death Metal can hold as a sub in something else.”
