Many moons have passed since Heavy Chains’ last collaboration with Canada’s kings of envenomed fantasy metal – Barrow Wight. From their humble beginnings as a Venom cover band, Barrow Wight have forged a truly unique, and extremely heavy sound that takes it’s cues from the aforementioned metal tyrants, as well as seamlessly incorporating the razor edge of Amebix and Bauhaus, and the the epic psychedelic wanderings of Hawkwind.
After a series of demos, and the excellent 2014 EP ‘Power from the East’, the band now presents their debut full length studio album ‘Kings in Saurons Service’. The album contains ten sepulchral explorations of Tolkien’s darkest literary nightmares!

I began my writing career in the year of 2012 due to my love for the metal community, and have since moved onto a second role as the Tech-Wiz of PoM - taking good care of our website. My favourite music genres are Progressive Metal in all its different shapes and Melodic Death Metal.
