Dew-Scented/Angelus Apatrida – Immersed

In support of their “Thrash Mercenaries tour”, both bands (or the label) decided to release a 7″ split EP limited to 500 copies. Dew-Scented starts with covering the Vio-lence track “World In a World” from their ‘Oppressing the Masses’ album. After that, a re-recorded version of  “New Found Pain” from their 20o3 album ‘Impact’ follows.

After that, Angelus Apatrida serves us a live version of their song “Serpents On Parade” from their latest album.  Their second track is a cover of Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode”, their version is o.k., but not very special. Both tracks of Angelus Apatrida are recorded a lot louder than the songs of Dew-Scented, which is a bit disturbing when you listen to all four in a row.

For fans, this is a nice collectors item, so don’t be too late, there are only 500 copies!

Once a metal head, always a metalhead. My parents thought it would only be a period, but they were wrong. I quit to explain the beauty of metal music to others that are not into metal, because it is something you can't tell in words... It is like explaining to a teetotaller why a cold beer is so nice on a hot day... I started with bands like Accept, Metal Church, Iron Maiden and Metallica in the eighties and I think I will still listen to them when I'm stone deaf and old...
