One of The best Heavy Metal bands from the Lebanon is without doubt ZIX. The debut was recorded in the Vegas View studios, Nevada, by Steve Thompson (METALLICA, ANTHRAX, GUNS N ROSES etc.), remixed and remastered at QuSoundStudio in Germany by Michael Kusch.
They show on their debut album true Metal hymns with fantastic female vocals! With True Metal I mean real Metal and no neosymphonic mass ware! Of course as you might expect the music contains also lyrics with “heaviness” because of the situation in the near east and the oppression of the headbangers there!
To support this there are guest musicians like Tony Martin (Black Sabbath), Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden), Paul Di’Anno (Iron Maiden), Ross The Boss (ex-Manowar, Death Dealer) and many many more. I won’t count them all here. Explore the album, you won’t be disappointed!
