‘Honor Is Dead‘ ist aggressiver als sein Vorgänger und entstand im Verbund aller Mitglieder der Band, nachdem die Musik auf ‘Wovenwar‘ größtenteils fertiggestellt war, ehe Sänger Shane Blays hinzustieß. Das Ergebnis spricht für sich und zeigt eine hungrige Gruppe, die ihren Sound endgültig gefunden hat. ‘Honor Is Dead‘ enthält noch mehr eingängige Melodien und Hooks als das Debüt, woraus sich eine ausgesprochen tiefschürfende Hörerfahrung ergibt, die das gesamte emotionale Spektrum abdeckt. Die elf Stücke sind mit einem dunklereren textlichen Faden durchzogen und schlagen mit voller Gewalt ein!
