Enters the studio to record sixth album!
After releasing their live CD/DVD set The Brotherhood of the Blade this past October, WHITECHAPEL is now launching a mini-documentary, entitled “Untold“, which gives an inside look into the less talked about aspects of touring. Shot and directed by Mathis Arnell / Naughty Mantis, “Untold” was filmed with the band and crew over the course of the summer of 2015 on the Rockstar Mayhem tour. Having spent most of 2015 on tour with the likes of Slayer, King Diamond, Suicide Silence, and other premier acts, WHITECHAPEL has just entered the studio to record their sixth album and follow-up to 2014’s Our Endless War (which debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200 chart!). With Mark Lewis (Audio Hammer Studios) as their producer once again, the band is poised to dominate the music world this summer.

Nach der Veröffentlichung der Live-CD/DVD The Brotherhood of the Blade im Oktober 2015 zeigen WHITECHAPEL jetzt die Mini-Dokumentation “Untold“, die sich den weniger häufig besprochenen Aspekten des Tourens widmet. Der von Regisseur Mathis Arnell / Naughty Mantis gedrehte Film “Untold” entstand im Laufe des Sommer 2015 gemeinsam mit Band und Crew während der Rockstar Mayhem Tour. Nachdem sie den Großteil des letzten Jahres mit Bands wie Slayer, King Diamond, Suicide Silence und Berühmtheiten unterwegs waren, sind WHITECHAPEL just im Studio aufgeschlagen, um ihr sechstes Album, den Nachfolger zum 2014er Werk Our Endless War (das auf #10 der Billboard Top 200 Charts einstieg!) einzuspielen. Die Band arbeitet einmal mehr mit Produzent Mark Lewis (Audio Hammer Studios) und dürfte im kommenden Sommer den Ton in der Metal-Welt angeben.
WHITECHAPELs Gitarrist Alex Wade sagt dazu: “Diese Woche haben wir mit den Aufnahmen zu unserem sechsten Album begonnen. In den letzten zehn Jahren haben wir einen weiten Weg zurückgelegt und freuen uns jetzt, euch den nächsten Schritt in der Entwicklung von Whitechapel zu zeigen.“
When my old buddy Kenn Jensen asked me if I wanted to contribute to the new site he had created, then called powermetal.dk, I didn't hesitate. My love for metal music was and is great. I wrote my first review during the summer of 2004 (Moonspell's 'Antidote' album). In 2015, I took over the editor-in-chief role.
