US Metal veterans VICIOUS RUMORS unleash “Chasing The Priest” as a single of the upcoming album “Concussion Protocol”

The American Heavy / Power Metal juggernaut VICIOUS RUMORS is proud to present its first single out of the upcoming album “Concussion Protocol”. The song’s title is “Chasing The Priest” and it is released as a lyric video.
Geoff Thorpe, guitarist and leader of the band, commented about “Chasing The Priest”: “In our dark tale of the earth’s final days man turns his back on religious concepts! The Song “Chasing the Priest” was written by myself along with Nick, Tilen and Larry in a house we rented last summer next to and old Church in the Netherlands. The band was in the beginning of the songwriting process for the album “Concussion Protocol”. We hope you enjoy our dark tale in Metal madness as much as we enjoyed making it for you!!! Older, faster, stronger! This video was produced by Jimmie Evans lll at Electric Punishment Studios in Santa Rosa California. Turn it up and see you on tour!! Metal on!”

This coming August 26th “Concussion Protocol” will be released via SPV / Steamhammer Records. It will be the band’s 12th release while also being the debut for VICIOUS RUMORS‘s Dutch singer, Nick Holleman

When my old buddy Kenn Jensen asked me if I wanted to contribute to the new site he had created, then called powermetal.dk, I didn't hesitate. My love for metal music was and is great. I wrote my first review during the summer of 2004 (Moonspell's 'Antidote' album). In 2015, I took over the editor-in-chief role.
