With Europe onboard, it’s safe to say that the final countdown to Tons of Rock 2016 has started. The Swedes released a fantastic album in 2015, and this year, the ultraclassic album The Final Countdown celebrates 30 years. In addition to the Swedish giant band with their 185 million youtube spinner The Final Countdown, we are proud to present the Norwegian rock comet The Dogs, the recently reunited Red Harvest, and Norway’s own legendary Mr. Glam, Åge Sten Nilsen with his Ammunition. On top of all this, you’ll be getting The Shrine, Pil & Bue, Vesterbron, Etheral Sin, Heatseekers and Mannskoret.

We’ve already announced legends such as Black Sabbath on their last tour, exclusive Norway shows with Alice Cooper, Megadeth and Behemoth, Norwegian legends Raga Rockers, Nikki Sixx’s SIXX:AM and not least Swedish hard rock icons Ghost, who recently won Grammys both in Sweden and the US. Let everyone know that we’re talking about the lineup of all times within rock and metal in Norway!

We are now expecting over 20.000 guests inside the gates on 23. – 25. of June, which means twice the earlier years. Tons of Rock have taken the wheel on the rock and metal carousel in Norway, and we intend to keep it! Beautiful Halden and Fredriksten Fortress will be the altar of the Norwegian rock royalty family, a fact the audience already approves, telling by the ticket pre sales. With the sales thus far, we recommend everyone to get theirs in advance!
