With THE LEGION:GHOST the hot-shots of the modern metal scene are as of now part of the NOIZGATE family! The quintet from the Aachen / Cologne region has only been in business for about a year and a half – and it’s not only the band’s sound, which is best described as a musical sledgehammer, that’s been stirring up the scene all over the country. For THE LEGION:GHOST is an overall concept: The emergence of music, stories told, visuals and the unity of band and fans. A homogeneous whole and metal straight from the heart!
Having started in early 2015, THE LEGION:GHOST have since been holding their ground alongside biggies such as Misery Index, Hatesphere or The Charm, The Fury, confidently presenting themselves as the new force in the metal ring and literally blowing out live on stage, unleashing an audiovisual maelstrom, that will inevitably carry anyone along. That the band’s shows really aren’t an insider tip any more is best proven by the daily growing crowd of committed fans, keeping faith with their legion and being an indispensable part of the fabric that makes this band who they are.
Led by frontman Kevin Kearns (vocals), with Andreas Leifeld (guitar), Uli Werner (guitar), Markus Rémy (bass) and Ben Overmann (drums) THE LEGION:GHOST has five technically highly adept, creative musicians ready to prove, what producing contemporary metal in the second decade of the 21st century is all about: Brutal, massive, hard, no compromise, no mercy but still heavy with intensity and honest emotion. Complex arrangements, mighty riffs, infernally groovy drums and bittersweet melodies meeting with insane blasts and staccato guitars – modern, tight metal at its best!
