Sliptrick records signs OBSCURA AMENTIA And SCARS OF TEARS for 2017 releases

Sliptrick Records welcome 2 new bands to their roster. Very different in style but both with a strong sense of atmosphere and style. We’re currently preparing album releases for next year.

Obscura Amentia (IT) Black Metal | Doom Metal

Scars Of Tears (GR) Atmospheric Rock | Gothic Metal

Obscura Amentia

The Italian studio-band, Obscura Amentia formed in Southern Italy with the initial intention to write their own brand of Black Metal songs. The idea was to delve into the raw and atmospheric taking inspiration from Italian legends, horror images, ancient tales and create a musical style that would lean towards the melancholy and melodic. The lyrics are influenced deeply by literature and reflect their thoughts and feelings upon things such as the rediscovery of nature from the point of view of perfect harmony and confrontation with humanity. Heady stuff indeed!.

The band have previously released 2 albums, The Darkest Dream in 2010 and Ritual in 2012. Sliptrick Records will release their brand new album The Art Of The Human Decadence in 2017. Stay tuned for more news!

Scars Of Tears

Scars of Tears are an atmospheric rock/metal band from Greece. The sound of the band is characterized by the strong guitar riffs of Petros, the melodic voice of Charitini combined with the brutal vocals of Babis and Thanasis and the solid drumming style of Chris. The band have already recorded one album called Scars of Tears in 2014 and their new project is the album Just Dust, slated for release on Sliptrick Records in 2017. The new album has been recorded and mixed in Voodoo Project Studio (Thessaloniki, Greece) by Alexandros Lykostratis during the summer of 2016 with the production made by the band themselves.
