Launches first single ‘Carved In Stone’ as video and kick-starts pre-order!

The Swedish sleaze/punk influenced metal outfit known as SISTER, who hail from Stockholm, Sweden, have been working hard during the last ten years earning the reputation of being one of the best live acts out there.

SISTER is now back with their new record ‘Stand Up, Forward, March!‘, their best and most direct approach yet! The album was recorded in the city of rock n’ roll -Upplands Väsby, Sweden – by SISTER and producer Jona Tee of H.E.A.T., mixed by Tobias Lindell (Avatar, Crash Diet, Mustasch, Europe, Hardcore Superstar etc.) and mastered by Christian Schneider at Scandinavian Mastering.

Comments SISTER‘s Cari Crow: “Our intention with this release was not only to record an album, but the best album so far. The Sister vibe with the aggressive music and raw sound is all there together with a bigger sound and choruses that will blow you away. This is by far the best Sister album so far and there is no doubt that this one will take the band to new heights!“

“The first single ‘Carved In Stone’ was written by Tim Tweak and Cari Crow, together with producer Jona Tee. This was one of the last songs that was written for the album but we all understood right away that this might be the leading track.“

Stellen erste Single ‘Carved In Stone’ als Video vor und beginnen mit den Vorbestellungen!

Die schwedischen Sleaze-Punk-Metaller SISTER aus Stockholm klotzen seit zehn Jahren ordentlich ran und haben sich zu einer der besten Livebands überhaupt gemausert.

SISTER kehren jetzt mit ihrem neuen Album ‘Stand Up, Forward, March!‘ zurück, das zugleich ihr bestes und direktestes darstellt! Die Scheibe wurde in der Rock-Hochburg Väsby in Schweden von SISTER selbst mithilfe von Jona Tee von H.E.A.T. aufgenommen und von Tobias Lindell (Avatar, Crash Diet, Mustasch, Europe, Hardcore Superstar etc.) abgemischt, sowie von Christian Schneider in den Scandinavian Mastering Studios gemastert.

Einen ersten Vorgemschmack von ‘Stand Up, Forward, March!‘ erhaltet ihr auf metalblade.com/sister, wo es das Video zur neuen Single ‘Carved In Stone’ zu sehen gibt. Schaut euch auch die verschiedenen Pre-order-Möglichkeiten an, die Scheibe wird auf CD und LP erscheinen!

SISTER selbst sagen in Form von Cari Crow dazu: “Wir wollten unser bislang bestes Album überhaupt statt nur ein weiteres einspielen. Unsere typische Stimmung, die Aggression und der rohe Sound sind erhalten geblieben, bloß klingt alles fetter, und die Refrains werden euch wegblasen. Das ist unser bisheriger Karrierehöhepunkt, und dass uns die Platte einen großen Schritt weiterbringen wird, steht schon jetzt fest!“

“Die erste Single ‘Carved In Stone’ wurde von Tim Tweak und Cari Crow geschrieben, gemeinsam mit Produzent Jona Tee. Es war einer der letzten Songs, die für das Album geschrieben wurden, wir wussten aber sofort, dass es der Leading Track sein könnte!“
