Brazilian metal band are proud to announce the endorsement agreement with ENGL amplifiers, whose family of artists include names such as Steve Morse, Paul Stanley (Kiss), Marty Friedman, Ritchie Blackmore, Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy), Andre Olbrich (Blind Guardian) and Michael Romeo (Symphony X).

Guitarist Raphael Mattos will use the Fireball amp, which is already being used on the recordings of Shadowside’s new album.

The band is already reunited with producer Fredrik Nordström (Arch Enemy, Evergrey, Bring me the Horizon, Hammerfall, Architects) at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, where they are in the recording process of the new material, which will mark the official debut of Swedish bass player Magnus Rosén (ex-Hammerfall) as a member of Shadowside.

Raphael Mattos commented on his new amp: “When I recorded the ‘Inner Monster Out’ album in 2011, I had the opportunity to use an ENGL Fireball and that was when I finally found my sound. ENGL amps are simply the personification of Heavy Metal!”
