The first stage of pre-production on Spiritual Machines has been lots of fun. I’ve spent an extra couple of weeks working on guitar tones, synth sounds and generally putting together the sonic palette for this new album.

This week I’m going through the demos of the new songs and starting to develop them into the final versions.

There is going to be a lot more layering on this album I think. Already the demos display more different guitar sounds than I have used before.

I’ve been recording video footage as I go, but haven’t had a chance to edit anything together yet. I want to keep on top of my deadline. I’ll see how I go the next couple of weeks.

Stay cyber!
Paul
