Apparently, the legendary Symphonic metal combo NIGHTWISH is everywhere – even in sports! The Australian national team of synchronized swimmers now announced that they will be using the classical hymn ‘Last Ride Of The Day’ off NIGHTWISH‘s “Imaginaerum” from 2012 for their competition at the Olympic Championship! The track will be played in an orchestral Version during the swim performance of the team in Rio de Janeiro.
The band feels very honoured and wishes good luck to the entire team!

When my old buddy Kenn Jensen asked me if I wanted to contribute to the new site he had created, then called powermetal.dk, I didn't hesitate. My love for metal music was and is great. I wrote my first review during the summer of 2004 (Moonspell's 'Antidote' album). In 2015, I took over the editor-in-chief role.
