Pennsylvania’s own unsung monsters of experimental black metal/death metal, Veilburner, have partnered with NoCleanSinging today to launch the first single from their forthcoming 3rd full-length, The Obscene Rite. Today’s new single, “Eucharist of the Breathing Abyss”, drags you into a nightmare realm of piercing torment and bizarre horror. At first glance, a jarring exercise in madness, “Eucharist of the Breathing Abyss” is depraved yet intricately crafted black/death for fans of groups such as Deathspell Omega, Akercocke, Dødheimsgard, and Behemoth. Veilburner – The Obscene Rite will be released on Friday, September 30th.
