Desert Dragon, California based prog/rock outfit releases new album ‘Before the Storm’ via Sliptrick Records.
Desert Dragon is an Award winning Progressive Rock/ Hard Rock/ Melodic Metal band from LA, Winners of the 2011 Malibu Music Awards/Best Rock Song “Save My World”, Desert Dragon are a unique blend of Prog Rock, Hard Rock and Melodic Metal drawing influences from the likes of milestones Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, George Lynch as well as modern progressive Rock and Metal heroes such as Opeth, Dream Theater, Chevelle and Avenged Sevenfold.
Their new album ‘Before the Storm’ has been mixed with James Jimbo Barton (Producer/Mixer for QUEENSRCHE, RUSH, ERIC CLAPTON, METALLICA) and definitely Desert Dragons’most polished release to date Before The Storm.

I began my writing career in the year of 2012 due to my love for the metal community, and have since moved onto a second role as the Tech-Wiz of PoM - taking good care of our website. My favourite music genres are Progressive Metal in all its different shapes and Melodic Death Metal.
