Hank Shermann comments: “We are happy to be able to release a video for the title track, which was the first song that really got us going as a band.
Now we are building upon the shadowy metal essence of what we created with the ‘Satan’s Tomb’ EP, and are moving forward with a full-length release for next year.

Featuring cover artwork painted by Thomas Holm (best known for his work on Mercyful Fate‘s Melissa and Don’t Break The Oath), Satan’s Tomb is classic heavy metal infused with an outpouring of Michael Denner and Hank Shermann‘s signature, dark magic shred-work. According to the formidable guitar duo from Mercyful Fate, rounding out the line-up with Snowy Shaw (King Diamond, Therion, Sabaton) on drums, Marc Grabowski (Demonica) on bass guitar, and Sean Peck (Cage, Death Dealer) on vocals was a critical component to bringing these 4 tracks to life. Their critically acclaimed release has the press and fans both craving for more from this group.

Denner comments, “Creating these songs with this line-up really ignited my metal fire hotter than ever! I’m sure the fans are going to love this thing.
Shermann adds, “This mix ended up really having an old school feel to it that sounds awesome when blasting at an unhealthy volume.

When my old buddy Kenn Jensen asked me if I wanted to contribute to the new site he had created, then called powermetal.dk, I didn't hesitate. My love for metal music was and is great. I wrote my first review during the summer of 2004 (Moonspell's 'Antidote' album). In 2015, I took over the editor-in-chief role.
