Forging death metal with elements of thrash, groove, black, and melodic tones, Ottawa, ON’s hybrid force OMINOUS ECLIPSE has posted a new guitar playthrough video for their track ‘Pestilence’, which is off their 2015 debut album ‘End of Days’.

OMINOUS ECLIPSE will be opening for Russian Pagan folk metal band Arkona on September 22nd at Mavericks in Ottawa, ON alongside Montreal folk metallers Valfreya and locals Damnus. Full details can be found here.

A very ambitious band passionate about writing and playing extreme music, Ottawa based metal band Ominous Eclipse have self labeled themselves as a “Hybrid” with death metal being the main aspect combined with elements of thrash, groove, black, melodic etc. Active since 2014, Ominous Eclipse have released an EP, “Beyond The Apocalypse” and an LP “End Of Days.” Starting off playing small local gigs in the Ottawa area, the band has been making waves on the local scene opening for big names such as Revocation, The Agonist, Kalmah and more!
