Announces November tour!

Brooklyn shapeshifters CANDIRIA – who are known for fusing metal, jazz, hip-hop, and more in a truly unique hybrid style – have premiered the title track from their new album, While They Were Sleeping, out October 7th via Metal Blade Records. “We are very excited to release a play through video for the title track off of our new album,” comments guitarist John LaMacchia. “It is the first time we have ever done a play-through video that features the full band. Video director Steve Perlmutter did a fantastic job capturing the right mood and energy that matches the overall tone of the song.“

While They Were Sleeping is a concept album conceived by the band’s lead vocalist Carley Coma. It tells the tale of a failed musician who rises up against a monarchy in New York City. Previously, the band revealed the song “Mereya,” which can be heard at: metalblade.com/candiria – where the album can also be pre-ordered in various formats.

While They Were Sleeping will be available in CD and limited edition colored vinyl.

To celebrate the release of this much-anticipated album, Candiria will embark on the NYC Five-Borough “World Tour,” playing shows in intimate venues in each of the city’s five boroughs during the week of release. Limited edition posters will be made for all of NYC Five-Borough “World Tour” shows. Each poster will be available only at the corresponding show. Tickets to the 5 Borough shows can be purchased HERE.

The band has also confirmed a fall tour, which will take place in November. Dalek will serve as direct support. See below for all upcoming dates!

Kündigen Tour für November an!

Die Brooklyner Quertreiber CANDIRIA – die bekannt für ihre beispiellose Fusion aus Metal, Jazz, Hip-Hop, und weiteren Stilen sind – haben den Titelsong ihres neuen Albums ‘While They Were Sleeping‘ veröffentlicht, das am 7.10. via Metal Blade Records erscheint. “Wir freuen uns, dieses Video zum Titelstück unseres kommenden Longplayers zu zeigen, in dem wir den Song gemeinsam darbieten” sagt Gitarrist John LaMacchia dazu. “Das haben wir zum ersten Mal überhaupt getan. ‘While They Were Sleeping‘ ist ein Konzeptalbum aus der Feder von Hauptsänger Carley Coma. Es erzählt von einem gescheiterten Musiker, der in New York City gegen eine Monarchie aufbegehrt.
