ANTHRAX will release their long-awaited new album, »For All Kings«, on February 26, 2016 via Nuclear Blast.
Says ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante: “The cover art for this record is again done by Alex Ross, who is probably one of the greatest artists living. And he did our previous covers.”
He continues: “My idea for this one was to show this hall and these huge statues of these kings – who, of course, are us – and trying to tie in the last album cover with these creatures who are drawn into this room with our ANTHRAX ‘A.’ This one, you’ll see those creatures in this hall kind of trying to reach up at these kings. We tried to tie in the last two album covers with this album cover. And when you see it, it’s beautiful. It’s grandiose. It just has this beautiful look to it. And, yeah, it’s gonna be a great album cover.”

ANTHRAX werden ihr lange erwartetes, neues Album »For All Kings« am 26. Februar via Nuclear Blast veröffentlichen.
ANTHRAX-Trommler Charlie Benante erklärt: “Das Cover dieser Platte wurde erneut von Alex Ross gestaltet, einem der derzeit wohl großartigsten Künstler. Er schuf auch unsere vorherigen Cover.”
Er fährt fort: „Mein Gedanke bei diesem Cover war, diese Halle und diese großen Königsstatuen – das sind natürlich wir – zu präsentieren und zu versuchen, das letzte Artwork einzubinden, indem man diese Geschöpfe mit dem ANTHRAX-A hineinzeichnet. Auf diesem Cover sieht man jene Kreaturen in der Halle nach den Königen greifen. Wir haben nun probiert, die letzten beiden Album-Cover mit diesem zu verknüpfen. Seht es Euch an, es ist wunderschön. Es ist grandios. Es besitzt einfach eine wunderschöne Optik. Und na klar, das wird ein großartiges Cover für das Album.“

When my old buddy Kenn Jensen asked me if I wanted to contribute to the new site he had created, then called powermetal.dk, I didn't hesitate. My love for metal music was and is great.
