\u201cDust\u201d is the conclusion of the trilogy The Enid <\/strong>began with \u201cJourney\u2019s End\u201d in 2010, and continued on \u201cInvicta\u201d in 2012. As some of you might know this could be the last The Enid<\/strong> album with only remaining founding member Robert John Godfrey, because he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and will eventually leave the band.<\/p>\n

I have never really gotten into this band, but do respect their history and importance for today\u2019s progressive rock scene. They are a very visual and theatrical band, and you always get the feeling that you are listening to a soundtrack for short film when you put on a new The Enid<\/strong> album.<\/p>\n

The vibrant and colourful sound is as current today as it was in 1973 when it all began. Put on your headphones and dive into the wonderful symphonic soundscapes created for us. They have actually created a visual realization of this album, which they will take on the road, so go see them if they come your way.<\/p>\n

\u201cDust\u201d is the perfect conclusion to the story, and is exactly what you would like from them at this stage of their career. They have not won me over this time either, but don\u2019t hold that against them\u2026 give it a listen.<\/p>\n
