Despite having released only 3 studio-albums (a 4^{th<\/sup> one is on the way) and even though global success has been somewhat elusive, the story of Quartz and its members is rich and eventful. The band was formed around 1974 in Birmingham. After having split up in 1983, the quintet reformed in 2011 and the line-up now features almost all their original members.<\/p>\n}

In the video-interview that follows, Mick Hopkins, Derek Arnold and Malcolm Cope, respectively the band\u2019s guitarist, drummer and bassist, reminisce on their individual and collective pasts while, together with vocalist David Garner and guitarist Geoff Nicholls, the band prepares to take Quartz into a new era.<\/p>\n
