<\/a><\/p>\nSabiendas hail from the Ruhr Area and are one of Germany’s\u00a0 most active live bands these days. The music is rather technical and sometimes reminding a bit of early Morbid Angel, but less complicated. Also, early Grave influences and Bolt Thrower are recognizable in their music.<\/p>\n
Jan’s vocals\u00a0are rather understandable grunts,\u00a0the drums tight and the bass has a nice groove. If you didn’t know better, you would think that you just put on a death metal album from\u00a0the nineties. Battering drums,\u00a0rattling bass drums and\u00a0tight low tuned guitar riffs – you’ll hear it all in the first track “Worse Than Death”. The tempo changes from slow to very fast blasting parts keep you focused every second. During\u00a0the\u00a0faster pieces, I also\u00a0sometimes think of Suffocation, but\u00a0a bit less extreme. The only negative\u00a0point about the album is perhaps the lack of originality,\u00a0but who cares when the songs are interesting and well performed?<\/p>\n
For those who adore old school death metal a welcome album!<\/p>\n
