The band has been thru so much adversity that it\u2019s a feat that they are still up and running\u2026<\/p>\n Rebellion<\/strong> is well known for their metal hymns and their historical themed albums: they told their version of the history of the Vikings over three albums. And on their last one, they turned to the history of the Germans, which is also the scene for this heavy metal history lesson.<\/p>\n \u201cWyrd bi\u00f0 ful ar\u00e6d – The History of the Saxons\u201d dips into the rise and demise of the Saxons in Germany. The Saxons were a confederation of Germanic tribes, who over the years spread their wings beyond their own border, most notably to England in the 5th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n But enough historical background\u2026 Let\u2019s turn to the music, and once more they stand tall and fight the fight, they\u2019ve fought for almost 15 years: TRUE METAL with razor sharp guitar riffs, strong choirs and a powerful backbone.<\/p>\n They deliver the goods once more \u2013 with fists in the air and heads banging all-around! Yeah, this is plain and simple heavy metal with a story to tell.
