The band’s caliginous creation was brought to fruition in Britain\u2019s Witch County, in darkest rural\u00a0Suffolk<\/b>\u00a0at the reputedly haunted\u00a0Grindstone Studios<\/strong>.\u00a0The album\u2019s title is named after the\u00a0‘Malleus Maleficarum’<\/strong>, a medieval document of guidelines regarding the persecution and torture of witches – but\u00a0CRADLE OF FILTH<\/strong>\u2018s<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0title version is more retributory:\u00a0It\u2019s the\u00a0\u00bbHammer Of The Witches\u00ab<\/b>; the hammer is in the witches’ hands and it’s payback time.<\/span><\/div>\n
