When a band makes up its name from \u201cCompany of Maniacs<\/strong>\u201d, this can be seen as a promise to the listener. Since the formation of their band in 2012, the four Swiss of Comaniac have repeatedly proven what this means in their case: They celebrate metal-mania in the best sense<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After two praised demo tapes in their founding year, the debut album \u201cReturn To The Wasteland<\/strong>\u201d was labeled \u201cThe thrash highlight of 2015<\/em><\/strong>\u201d (powermetal.de, 9.5\/10<\/strong>) by the press.<\/p>\n

As support for bands like Exodus or Kreator<\/strong> and with an impressive performance at the MetalDays festival in 2016<\/strong>, the four established their reputation as an amazing live band<\/strong>. The second edition of their debut album was soon sold out due to enormous demand.<\/p>\n

Not less than that can be expected from the Swiss\u2019 new album that is to be released via SAOL on April 7, 2017<\/strong>. The title \u201cInstruction For Destruction<\/strong>\u201d states what Comaniac stands for: destructive thrash metal at its best<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With \u201cCoal\u201d as the perfect opener<\/strong> to show the band\u2019s musical development, it is not hard to predict what this will lead to \u2013 Comaniac are Switzerland\u2019s promise for the future of metal<\/strong>. Songs like \u201cBow Low<\/strong>\u201d or the title track \u201cInstruction for Destruction<\/strong>\u201d have that high recognition value<\/strong> many young thrash metal bands can\u2019t provide. It makes the listener hope that the four will keep following their own instructions \u2013 because destruction hardly ever sounded so good<\/strong>. And Comaniac\u2019s destruction can\u2019t be stopped.<\/p>\n
