This year we celebrate the 13th year of MWM<\/strong>, and we celebrate it by moving to our new regional music venue in\u00a0 Randers: TURBINEN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Headliner acts are 2 giants in Danish Metal : ILLDISPOSED<\/strong> & HATESPHERE<\/strong> – both bands have for decades been wellknown both nationally and internationally, and we must say the 2 biggest underground names in Metal in DK.<\/p>\n

Our very own local headliner is the mighty PREVAIL<\/strong>, <\/strong>who just released their debut album, and got some pretty heavy reviews. They will with their usual stagepresence takes us a on a ride around the groovy melo-deathmetal.<\/p>\n

RISING <\/strong>is aggressive and melodic Heavy Metal, and are amongst the new league in DK playing festivals national and international.<\/p>\n

HORNED ALMIGHTY <\/strong>will give us a lesson in death metal with a brutal mindset, the band has more than 15 years behind them and will give us a blast of a show.<\/p>\n

ROYAL DECIET <\/strong>is the new breed and play alternative metal, they will open the stage for the festival.<\/p>\n

So join up on the event, let your hair down and headbang the night away!<\/p>\n

The project group Midwinter Meltdown has run since 2005, and is a once a year event. The purpose was from the start to promote the new breed of local acts, to promote the underground music scene of Heavy Metal, and to set Randers on the map as a metal town!<\/p>\n

MWM allways seeks to have a variety of different music styles at the event, and is always presented on a big stage, with room for lights and stageshow.<\/p>\n

This year we take on our new regional venue TURBINEN, which seems to be the perfect place for us, and were existed to have them as our new partner in crime.<\/p>\n

The event group is a collaboration between Midwinter Meltdown, Popshit records and Caf\u00e9 Von Hatten, and they all aim to promote the underground music scene and give the youth a quality experience centered around the music, simply a place where the grassroots meets the professionals.<\/p>\n

The whole group around MWM is a non-profit organization and all work as volunteers! If there is any kind of income, it will all be transferred to next year’s event! And the event wouldn\u2019t be without the financial supported by the City council of Randers!<\/p>\n
