										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are only a selected few instrumental metal bands that can get me exited these days; first and foremost <strong>Long Distance Calling</strong>. On their previous albums they have been playing a bit with vocals on a few songs and have had a few guests involved on them as well. But on &#8216;Boundless&#8217; it&#8217;s back to the roots; eight instrumental songs and only involving the four guys, who makes this engine run.</p>
<p>And the result is absolutely marvellous! They are really showcasing their high technical skill level on all eight songs, and the song writing is first class. The songs are diverse, and intense, they are harder, faster and heavier than previously, they are emotional and packed with razorsharp riffs, hooks and breaks.</p>
<p>This album has more in common with &#8216;Avoid the Light&#8217; than anything they&#8217;ve made since, and they are really playing to their own strength on &#8216;Boundless&#8217;; four guys playing post rock mixed nicely up with progressive metal. Each song brings something special to the table and each song stands out on its own merits, and I keep discovering new and interesting aspects in the songs!</p>
<p>An early contender for Album of the Year, and possible the best instrumental metal album you&#8217;ll come across this year!</p>
