Forged from the darkest depths, “Only Death Can Save You” breathes violence and marches fearlessly down its death metal path. Summoning the visceral classic and the caustic edge of later death metal, the new punishing album spreads its aural horror with razor sharp precision.
To explain the title & concept of the new album, the band commented: “With ‘Only Death Can Save You’ our intent was to artistically delve into the deepest, darkest corners of the human psyche and follow a creative path into the obscure frame of mind a person has when facing death, which, is the ultimate most terrifying experience and yet the only ‘salvation’ from life. This is a concept reflected in the lyrics and also captured in the album’s artwork”.
On song writing & recordings, they added: “Having had a stable line up since the release of our last offering ‘Beast Incarnate’, also meant that we could work more as a unit this time around with all members giving a much stronger contribution to the song writing. This also includes our drummer Davide Billia who’s responsible for the recording process of the album and this was a key factor in nailing the sound, timbre and tone we wanted to give to this album”.
“Only Death Can Save You” was recorded and mixed at Mk2 Recording Studio, run by the band’s drummer, Davide Billa. The album was mastered at Hertz Studio in Poland. Cover artwork was painted by Daniel Corcuero (Nekronikon).
BEHEADED rolled into life in 1991 with Malta as a backdrop to its caustic roots of death metal. Drawing inspiration from death metal hailing from Europe and the US at that time, and diving head on in the tape trading, zine and snail mail networks, BEHEADED furnaced its demo “Souldead” in 1995. With its strong statement and character, both European and worldwide record deals preceded the final cementation of the band as a placeholder in the extreme music scene. With six official releases under its belt, respect was gained through the energetic live set tying its relentlessness to its pure death metal inner sanctum. Several tours and festivals in Europe, US and Asia have channelled this thick skinned aural punishment to crowds all over, bringing more and more devoted followers. Years ahead have taken the tinge of freshened vigour and BEHEADED is ready to deliver death metal of the highest caliber. Their last album, “Beast Incarnate”, was released in 2017.

Since 1991, Hate have lived up to their name, responsible for some of the angriest and most ruthless death metal unleashed upon the world. With 2017’s Tremendum, they took a step toward a darker, more atmospheric, black metal-oriented style and began exploring Slavonic mysticism, and new album Auric Gates Of Veles boldly continues in that direction. “We wanted to go deeper into the subject, both musically and lyrically,” asserts vocalist/guitarist ATF Sinner. “We also wanted to record a sharper and better defined rhythm section, a more death metal-oriented one. When it comes to guitar sound, it was meant to be a wall of sonic destruction with dark ambient elements in the background.” To say that they achieved that which they set out to create is an understatement, for Auric Gates Of Veles is a titanic record that is both more organic and dynamic sounding, and may well be the finest of their storied career.
With the ominous rumble that heralds the commencement of opener “Seventh Manvantara” giving way to a squall of guitars and blastbeats, it is clear that Hate are playing at the top of their game. Progressing through the rampant thrashing and wide open spaces of “The Volga’s Veins”, the haunting, crushing grooves of the title track, the equally sinister and tragic sounds of “Salve Ignis” and concluding with the raw black metal of closer “Generation Sulphur”, it is a diverse record, not content to rehash the same idea eight times. The centerpiece of the album is arguably the six and a half minute epic thunder of “Sovereign Sanctity”, which demands the full attention of the listener from start to finish. “We wanted the songs to sound like anthems, and ‘Sovereign Sanctity’ is a perfect example of such a song. I think it’s also one of the best we have written in years,” Sinner states.

After officially releasing the first record in their career, the quartet Burn Incorporated begins explaining to fans the ideas and inspirations for the songs that make up the “Supernova” EP.
The first single, that was released as a music video, was precisely the opening track “Hate”. The song, that bolsters an impeccable quality and displays all the virtuosity from the four young musicians, is an analogy for the concept of hate itself, shown in a context of hierarchical ascension over other people.
The song explores the void that a being may experience by being instituted as superior to his peers, transforming this power into evil, unleashed upon those below their sovereignty, humiliating and exposing your kin as an inferior being, incapable of growth.

The “Supernova” EP can be enjoyed in its entirety on all the world’s main streaming platforms. Available on Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, iTune, Google Play, Napster and many other channels. The EP has four tracks of pure Heavy Metal.
Check out the official track listing for Burn Inc’s first EP – Supernova:
01 – Hate
02 – Lonely
03 – Until My End
04 – Supernova (Instrumental)

]]>Death/Black Metallers HATE from Poland ready to enter the studio! Polish Death Metal squadron HATE is preparing to head to the studio in December to record the follow-up to 2017’s “Tremendum.” The new opus, bearing the working title “Salve Ignis,” is tentatively slated for summer 2019 and will be the band’s debut collaboration with the legendary Metal Blade Records. Details are still surfacing, but the band has so far released two raw pre-production tracks: “Path to Arkhen” and “In The Shrine Of Veles”, and have confirmed that production on the finished record will be handled by the talented Wieslawski brothers at Hertz Studio, Poland (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, and others). HATE have been praised by press and fans alike for years for creating lacerating and dark music, proven best on their current album ‘Tremendum‘ (2017). The album saw ATF Sinner (vocals, guitars) utilize the dark aspects of the mystic and arcane Slavonic folklore to explore themes both personal and impersonal. It is an album that is relatable at first listen, but that is hard to fully know.

]]>Death/Black Metallers HATE from Poland sign to Metal Blade Records!First new song available!
Metal Blade is proud to announce the signing of HATE, the glorious Death/Black Metal force hailing from Warsaw, Poland.
In 2018, we find HATE as ever, advancing. In preparation for what might be their most fruitful endeavor so far, to collaborate with the home of American Metal, Metal Blade Records.
“‘You are judged by the company you keep’ the saying goes, and if that is true, then we shall be judged extremely favourably. We are very proud to announce our signing to Metal Blade Records, a label that is as synonymous with Metal as the invention of the distortion pedal. This signing could not have come at a better timing, as it coincides with an opening of a new chapter in the band’s history. Beginning with the release of 2017’s ‘Tremendum’, Hate has been on a journey towards new, even darker horizons, and we’re confident that this step will help us in reaching these goals. Our first collaboration is already well underway and plans have already been laid down to enter the studio in December of this year, with a tentative release date for mid-2019. Come, bear witness and join us on this journey”, comments the band’s frontman ATF Sinner.
