HAMMERFALL release their third single and title track “Dominion” off their new album Dominion and accompany that release with a breath-taking new official video, which was officially premiered on legendary Wacken Open Air festival in front of 75 000 screaming heavy metal Templars of Steel! Finding inspiration in the great poem Paradise Lost, “Dominion” is about the archangel Lucifer’s fall from the Heavens, down to the pit, and how a warrior shaped demon lord came to conquer them all. Be prepared for heavy riffs and epic vocals.

Since it was impossible to take it higher – we decided to descend to Pandemonium, the Capital of Hell!

“The riff and the most part of the first half of the song was written and conceived on a family vacation in Florida. The rest was completed on tour with HammerFall, which is a first for me as a song writer; I’ve never written anything at all while on the road before. The massive guitars and the pounding drums gets us started, but it’s really in the verses and choruses where the song really comes into bloom. You will not be able to get the chorus out of your head, and in this case it’s a good thing”

BATTLE BEAST, the Finnish heavy metal sextet led by front-woman Noora Louhimo, is currently on an extensive European festival run in support of their fifth studio album »No More Hollywood Endings« (released on March 22, 2019 through Nuclear Blast; chart entries: Finland #1, Germany #11, Switzerland #12, Austria #36 etc.). HAMMERFALL will release a new album titled DOMINION on 16th August 2019 via Napalm Records. The group already unleashed “(We Make) Sweden Rock” – the first single off DOMINION. HAMMERFALL has shared today the lyric video for “(We Make) Sweden Rock” following the world premiere on the big screens at Sweden Rock Festival prior to the band’s performance over the weekend. Watch it HERE. The track is from their forthcoming album, “Dominion” set for release on August 16th.
HAMMERFALL frontman Joacim Cans comments,
“The lyrical content is direct referrals to songs and bands hailing from the north. In the lyric video we took everything a step further and included photos, not only from bands referred to in the lyrics, but from loads of other Swedish bands. It’s kind of a history lesson in Swedish Hard Rock & Metal.”
“The song is a tribute to the Swedish hard rock/heavy metal wonders that have swept the world for the past five decades. Bands from Sweden are tremendously well respected everywhere and we want to shine a light on everyone who helped create this.”

THE SIGN is a new multinational rock band put together by Swedish virtuoso bassist Magnus Rosen (Ex-Hammerfall, Billionaires Boys Club, Tony Martin of Black Sabbath) and Sri Lankan-born veteran vocalist Chitral ‘Chity’ Somapala (Red Circuit, Ex-Avalon, Firewind), with the lineup completed by Rosen’s fellow countryman, the versatile session guitarist Jörgen Alnevall.
Influenced by 70’s classic rock bands such as BAD COMPANY, DEEP PURPLE, and URIAH HEEP, and hard rock/metal greats from the 80’s like SCORPIONS, WHITESNAKE, and DIO, Chity and Magnus have taken this sound with THE SIGN and put their own individual, modern stamp on it.
The band has planned to release a single in the near future called “The Land Gone Dark”, a track from their upcoming debut album.
THE SIGN’s first live performance will be as headliners at the Rock Meets Reggae Festival in Sri Lanka on August 31, 2019.
