3TEETH – Cover Foster The People’s “PUMPED UP KICKS”; Set Sights On Song’s Commentary On Gun Culture In Blistering New Video, METAWAR Will Be Released Friday
To view the “PUMPED UP KICKS” video click the image above or follow this LINK!
3TEETH, who are less than a week away from the release of their Century Media debut, METAWAR, cover Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks,” highlighting the song’s commentary on school shootings in blistering new video.
“Industrial bands have a long history of subverting popular culture songs. From songs like Revolting Cocks’ version ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ or Laibach’s ‘Sympathy for the Devil,” says 3TEETH front man Alexis Mincolla. “We’ve just always been a fan of this sort of thing and felt it would be a good time to take an iconic song of the late 2000’s and give it some unexpected 2019 industrial darkness, which in the end seemed all too fitting considering the song is about a school shooter.”
The video is the fifth clip to accompany the July 5 release, with 3TEETH being unapologetically pointed in their critique of modern American life throughout the cannon of videos. “PRESIDENT X” tackles rampant conspiracy theories, “AFFLUENZA ” addresses the impact of pop culture consumerism, “AMERICAN LANDFILL” highlights the police state and the NSFW “EXXXIT” explores self-liberation.

INSOMNIUM announce new album and European headliner tour
Spearhead of melodic death metal, the grim harbingers of Finnish melancholy, INSOMNIUM are releasing their 8th studio album worldwide on October 4th 2019 through CENTURY MEDIA. In November the band shall embark on a comprehensive European tour with the support from the US extreme metal kings THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and Finland’s fiercest quintet STAM1NA.
INSOMNIUM camp comments:
”Needless to say, we are really stoked about the new album! With ten songs and over an hour of music we really feel we have something special in our hands. There is fury and aggression, doom and gloom, heartache and longing. The whole spectrum of Finnish man’s emotions from despair to regret. In the name of Nordic collaboration the Swedish wizard Jens Bogren has been doing marvelous job with the mixing and mastering, so this is the best sounding Insomnium album ever.
We are also very excited about the upcoming European tour that takes us around the continent in great company. It will be a truly killer package with the support from The Black Dahlia Murder and Stam1na. Surely a night not to be missed!”
THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER comment:
”We are beyond excited to have been recognized by Finnish Melodic Death Metal wizards INSOMNIUM as worthy touring companions. I feel like our music is a near perfect match and that it will be an amazing opportunity for us in THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER to reach some new fans this Winter. Europe… prepare yourselves for the ultimate melodic metal onslaught!”

3TEETH – ENDORSES “PRESIDENT X” / METAWAR ARRIVES JULY 5 VIA CENTURY MEDIA
“Rising industrial-rock force” (Alternative Press) 3TEETH offer fans a final preview of the band’s forthcoming album, METAWAR (July 5, Century Media), with the release of their “PRESIDENT X” video.
The rousing video parodies the forthcoming 2020 U.S. presidential election as well as the enduring conspiracy theory that humankind is controlled by a cabal of reptilian overlords.
“President X is about an arbitrary figure head that will continue to be replaced, repositioned and repackaged to maintain an illusion of choice and difference in a system that operates on auto-pilot,” explains singer Alexis Mincolla. “As the administration pendulum swings back and forth in our bi-partisan shit show, you basically get a new leader who comes in with the goal of undoing what the last guy did, continuing this cycle of futility. It’s like one of those TV shows that just keeps going on season after season, walking you in circles by throwing in new hackneyed characters and the same trite notions of conflict but in reality the story has no arc and no resolution and by the time the season finale comes, oh and it will come, you’re going to look back on it go holy fuck I want my money back… and no I’m not talking metaphorical money, I’m talking about your actual tax dollars that funded a hot trash show. I believe there was a fine scholar by the name of Frank Zappa who once said ‘Government is the Entertainment division of the military-industrial complex.’”
“PRESIDENT X” is the third video, and fourth song, to offer a preview of the Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails/Marilyn Manson) produced METAWAR. The songs reveal an overarching theme, from the Soylent Green infused clip for “AMERICAN LANDFILL” (https://youtu.be/EbOKU3j23k0 ) to the NSFW video for “EXXXIT” (https://youtu.be/Eq42sN-IgbQ) which explores liberation through self-destruction, to “AFFLUENZA” (https://youtu.be/mOBfdkGSUWg) and its commentary on the vapidity of modern pop culture and finally, “PRESIDENT X” and its nod to paranoia and buffoonery.

]]>Century Media Records artists ABORTED, ENTOMBED A.D. and BAEST team up for “Hell Over Europe III” Tour in October/November 2019
ABORTED are touring in support of their much-lauded latest album “TerrorVision” (2018) whereas ENTOMBED A.D. will be releasing a new record entitled “Bowels Of Earth” on August 30 th, and BAEST follow up with their second offering “Venenum” on September 13th.
ABORTED comment:
“We are extremely honoured and stoked to announce this year’s Hell over Europe! This time we get to co-headline with one of the genre defining masters ENTOMBED A.D., a band we all grew up listening to and shaped a great deal of our musical career, no more words needed to explain how big of a deal this is to us. And if that wasn’t enough, the mighty BAEST from Denmark will open the hostilities, one of our favorite newcomers of the last years (even if one of their members really just stole Sven’s name and added a ‘d’ to it for god knows what reason) will leave your neck twisted and turned. Come on out to Hell over Europe, the death metal party of the year!!! Oh, we might also have a couple of sweet new surprises for you guys :)”
Sven / ABORTED
ENTOMBED A.D. states:
“With a new album in the bag, which is coming out August 30th, we are going on a European tour with our friends in ABORTED and BAEST! See you on the road headbangers!”
BAEST add:
“Touring with the greats that developed the genre you say? Nah, fat chance! They’re legends. Touring with boundary shattering grind-gods that redefined live shows in the extreme niche? How would that be possible, dear, we are but some Danish newcomers…BOOM, proud to be a part of this bone crushing line-up!”
Svend / BAEST
The “Hell Over Europe III” tour kicks off October 18th in London and wraps up November 17th in Hamburg. Tickets are on sale now!

NEW YEARS DAY – Release New Song “Come For Me”, New Album “Unbreakable” Out April 26th
Billboard charting rockers NEW YEARS DAY release their new track “Come For Me” today. Check out the official lyric video for the track HERE!
This is the third release off of the band’s highly-anticipated album “Unbreakable” out on April 26 via Century Media Records/RED MUSIC.
“’Come For Me’ is my fight song. It’s my call to rally everyone who wants to get together and stand against anyone and everyone who’s got something to say to us,”
states singer Ash Costello.
“We live our lives online so much now. That invited anyone who’s got a negative opinion into our worlds. I got to a point where I just felt that I wanted to turn it into a fun time, a fun song. It’s the NYD version of ‘Hollaback Girl’… just A LOT heavier. It’s also the first song we wrote for the album AND the first song that I got to have 100% say in exactly what I wanted, how I wanted it to sound, what I wanted the song to do and what I wanted to say. No more metaphors. If you don’t like me then say it to my face and not behind a screen. I’ll guest list you”
“Come For Me” follows the band’s previous releases “Shut Up” and “Skeletons”, which have both solidified NEW YEARS DAY’s position as the band to watch in 2019. “Shut Up”, is Active Rock radio’s #2 greatest gainer on the chart, jumping from #44 to #26. “Shut Up” is currently featured on Spotify’s “Rock Hard”, “Heavy Queens”, “New Metal Tracks”, “New Noise”, and “Fierce Femmes” playlists along with Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock” playlist and Amazon Music’s “Rock Scene”, “Brand New Music”, and “Fresh Hard Rock” playlists. The track has over 500,000 total streams. Topping it off, the band’s debut track, “Skeletons”, off of Unbreakable, has raked in over 3 million streams and counting. Listen to “Skeletons” HERE!
“Unbreakable”, NEW YEARS DAY’s 4th studio album was produced by Mitchell Marlow (All That Remains, In This Moment) and Scott Stevens (Halestorm, Shinedown & American Authors). “Unbreakable” is the follow up to the band’s 2015 LP, “Malevolence”, which hit #45 on the Billboard 200, thanks to the radio hits “Defame Me” and “Kill Or Be Killed.”
The pre-order for “Unbreakable” is available HERE.
NEW YEARS DAY will be hitting the road this month with Falling In Reverse as support on the band’s U.S. tour. The tour will kick off in Las Vegas on April 20th and will wrap on May 24th in Los Angeles. Tickets are available for purchase HERE!
Formed in Orange County, Calif. by Ashley Costello, NEW YEARS DAY shook the scene with their Century Media debut, “Victim to Villain”, in 2013 featuring their breakout single “Angel Eyes.” The five-piece later cemented their place in the heavy music landscape with their “Epidemic”-EP and critically-acclaimed “Malevolence” full-length in 2015, clocking more than 20 million views on YouTube. The band has since become the most visually-captivating group in modern rock, playing for millions of fans around the world, sharing the stage with Ozzy Osbourne, Halestorm, Nine Inch Nails, Escape The Fate, Hellyeah and Five Finger Death Punch while also headlining the longest-running touring festival, Vans Warped Tour, in 2017. As new challenges and new worlds beckon, the band released their most recent EP, “Diary of a Creep”, in January to pay tribute to the artists who shaped them thus far. The EP featured renditions of Garbage’s “Only Happy When It Rains,” New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangle,” No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak” and their original track “Disgust Me”.

While NIGHT DEMON has performed at many festivals over the years – most recently Wacken Open Air (DE), Muskelrock (SE), and Ozzfest (U.S.), this show marked the first major festival headliner for the band.
During their encore set, the band was joined by none other than the legendary SCORPIONS guitar player, Uli Jon Roth. Roth and NIGHT DEMON went on to perform renditions of SCORPIONS classics “In Trance” and “Top Of The Bill”.

NEW YEARS DAY – Release Lead Single of New Album “Unbreakable” / Pre-Order Started Today
Billboard charting, award winning rockers New Years Day reveal the details about their forthcoming full-length album, “Unbreakable”. The band’s newest album is scheduled for release on April 26, 2019 via Century Media and RED MUSIC in the US. To celebrate the unveiling of “Unbreakable”, New Years Day release their single, “Shut Up”. Fans can listen to the empowering, hard hitting track HERE.
“‘Shut Up’ was written in a day, which just doesn’t happen. I was going through some heavy personal stuff, and I was just, ‘don’t tell me what I want, shut up and give it to me,’” states frontwoman Ash Costello about the track.
“Unbreakable”, New Years Day’s 4th studio album was produced by Mitchell Marlow (All That Remains, In This Moment, Butcher Babies) and Scott Stevens (American Authors, Halestorm, Shinedown). The album is the follow up to the band’s 2015 LP, “Malevolence”, which hit #45 on the Billboard 200, thanks to the radio hits “Defame Me” and “Kill Or Be Killed.” The pre-order for “Unbreakable” is available digitally HERE!
“Shut Up” is the second song released from the LP, following last year’s wildly popular track “Skeletons”. The song has been featured on Spotify’s “New Noise”, “Today We Rock”, “Nu Metal Tracks”, and “Rock Hard” playlists. “Skeletons” even made Pandora’s “Best of The Year for Rock” list after having only been released for a month. The band has raked in over 44 million U.S. streams to date and counting.
New Years Day will be hitting the road this spring with Falling In Reverse as support on the band’s U.S. tour. The tour will kick off in Las Vegas on April 20th and will wrap on May 24th in Los Angeles.
“Unbreakable” is available as a half red/half black vinyl LP with a Century Media-exclusive signed poster insert (limited to 500) and CD with poster insert. Exclusive pre-order bundles are also available, featuring an Ash Costello photo t-shirt, Unbreakable red/black raglan and Stronger Than You Know zip-up hoodie. Fans who pre-order a bundle via Century Media will also receive a Stronger Than You know encouragement greeting card. Pre-order bundles are available on the Century Media merch store HERE
Formed in Orange County, Calif. by Ashley Costello, New Years Day shook the scene with their Century Media debut, Victim to Villain, in 2013 featuring their breakout single “Angel Eyes.”
The five-piece later cemented their place in the heavy music landscape with their “Epidemic” EP and critically-acclaimed Malevolence full-length in 2015, clocking more than 20 million views on YouTube.

INSOMNIUM currently in the studio to record new album
Finland’s foremost melodic deathsters INSOMNIUM have begun recording their 8th studio album, as drums are being nailed at SF Studio with engineer Kimmo Perkkiö. Afterwards the work shall continue at Teemu Aalto Music Productions in Kotka. Jens Bogren will do the mix at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.
“Again when the days grew darker and the nights became colder, our path led into the dark. We checked-in to our traditional forest cabin-hq in the southern Finland for a new material rehearsal camp and (un)reality-check. We came out with 10’ish songs full of that good ol’ Finnish melancholy, sorrow & misery and now it’s time to wrap it all on tape for you peeps to hear ’em. Cannot wait to start the studio process and let the creative processes go up-and-down again!” comments guitarist Markus Vanhala.
”Exactly so!” adds vocalist & bassist Niilo Sevänen. ”We have a pile of great songs in our hands and we can’t wait to get these recorded and finished. I would say the album will be the kind of dreary and wistful Insomnium that people probably might expect but we also have a few surprises in store. Lyrically the album will revolve around Finland’s bleakest and most sorrowful tales and songs. So this time we are really going into the blackened heart of Finnish gloom!”
