Frontman Tim Lambesis comments, “The album was self-produced in a lot of ways but we don’t want to overlook the outside help we had. It was a great opportunity to work with Adam D again. He did a great job helping us lock down the arrangements and track the drums then we were able to take it from there back to our individual studios and self-produce for a while. Eventually bringing it to Joseph McQueen who was the overall editor and eventually mixed the record.”

UK’s BLEED FROM WITHIN will kick off their European tour supporting metal icons As I Lay Dying on December 1st and on the same date start ticket sales for the band’s first ever tour of Japan,
The band comments: “We’ve been talking to fans from Japan and other parts of Asia since the band started in 2005 but, as you can imagine, it’s not an easy place to get to. After releasing their latest album, “Era”, in April of this year BLEED FROM WITHIN are excited to announce that they will be joining As I Lay Dying on their European headliner tour in December.
The band comments: “Looking forward to joining our friends in As I Lay Dying as they return to Europe. We’ve been working on getting back to mainland Europe since we released our latest album, ‘Era’. Very excited to bring our new material to these stages. It’s been a long time coming.”

Five years in the making, “Era“ marks the return of the Scottish quintet. The album was recorded at Middle Farm Studios and BLEED FROM WITHIN headquarters between March – September 2017. The drums were produced and engineered by Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood (Periphery, Animals As Leaders and more), who also mixed the album. It is the first release featuring their new guitar player, Steven Jones. The Scottish based producer/songwriter joined the band two years ago and has been an integral part of both writing, and recording.
