Dead Legacy was formed in the year 2012 in Mexico City having metalcore as main influence and As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Trivium and Unearth as main references. The band is formed by former members of bands like Backyard, InZyrcle and Blackwell.
In the year 2015 the first EP named “Collapsing” is released. Having 3 tracks which have taken the band to participate in important events in the mexican metal scene such as Wacken Metal Battle 2016, finishing at 5th place amongst 150 bands nationwide. In the same year the band participated as supporting act for Nunca Digas Muere at their promotional tour over several states in the country.
By 2018 the 1st LP “Transcendence” is released. The album contains 9 solid tracks produced and mastered by the Ukrainian producer Max Morton, whom is responsible for acts like Jinjer and Shokran. Dead Legacy has shared stage with several of the best bands in the mexican metal scene such Anima Tempo, Cerberus, Here Comes the Kraken, Strike Master, Voltax, Tulkas, etc, and with international acts such as So This is Suffering (USA), HEYAWSM (Colombia), Howler (Costa Rica) and most recently as supporting act for Carnifex (USA)
